About us

The main actor in the field of research, education and management of identity, security and inclusion in the cross-border space from Romania has proven to be the University of Oradea through the expertise gained over the last 20 years. As a promoter of European Studies, aims through this Center of Excellence to capitalize on the experience gained by 6 professors, who coordinated Jean Monnet modules in the specific thematic areas of this project.

The necessity of the center is justified by the need to strengthen cooperation and interaction between academia and society, decision-makers at local and regional level, civil society, media and brings together professionals from academia, with specializations in line with EU trends, offering a constant and specialized transfer of knowledge and tools for integration, inclusion, intercultural education, societal security and societal resilience of minorities, immigrants and refugees to civil society in Romania, Serbia, Ukraine and Republic of Moldova.
